COVID-19 Policy.
Please do not send your child to Bop Stars if they are feeling unwell or if a family member or someone in your household are displaying COVID-19 symptoms.
Upon Arrival at Bop Stars Club
To minimise risk, attendees will stay in their allocated class 'bubbles' during their time at Bop Stars.
All parents/carers are kindly asked to maintain social distancing when arriving at our venue. Please observe guidance such as floor markers, social distancing signage etc.
No parents/carers are permitted to enter the building.
All parents/carers are required to drop their children off to the allocated Bop Stars staff members at the entrance of West Hill Primary School who will walk them to their classroom/bubble.
Registration will be taken in each group's classroom to maintain social distancing.
During Sessions with Bop Stars Club
We will be monitoring class sizes in line with social distancing (adhering to government guidelines).
Frequent hand washing and/or hand sanitisation will be undertaken by all upon entry, between disciplines, before and after breaks and toilet visits, and upon exit.
Hand sanitisers will be in each classroom and stationed at the main entrance, (where applicable).
Bop Stars will have signage regarding hand washing / sanitising displayed throughout the venue.
Please ensure your child only brings essential possessions to Bop Stars Club (such as water, lunch or a snack for break and any medication, i.e. EpiPen), and to keep those possessions close to them wherever practicable. Where possible, please DO NOT bring mobile phones to Bop Stars Club.
Attendees will be encouraged to cough or sneeze using the inside of their elbow to 'catch it' or a tissue which should be put into a bin bag which the manger on duty will seal and dispose of after each session.
Social Distancing
We will be observing the latest social distancing guidance from the UK Government for all of our attendees where appropriate.
Rooms will be of the required size and floor markings made to assist students in recognising the social distancing needed.
Each bubble will be allocated their own toilet and washing facilities.
Departures from Bop Stars Club
Students are to be collected from the same door they entered the building. Please note that we may need to stagger departure times to ensure social distancing is maintained.
Venue Availability
In the event of a Bop Stars venue becoming unavailable, we will endeavour to source an alternative venue within the surrounding area, or move the day/time of our classes.
Please note, as government guidance changes we will continually revise safety measures, risk assessments and policies.
