COVID-19
The safety of our students and staff is of upmost importance to Bop Stars Club and we will maintain the highest of standards when adhering to government guidelines for COVID-19. Below outlines Bop Stars approach to the most common protocols, if you require any further information please view our FAQs or get in contact and we will happily answer any questions or concerns.
Temperature Checks
If your child is displaying any symptoms of COVID-19 they should not attend Bop Stars. Any students that have come into contact with anyone who has tested positive or shown symptoms of COVID-19 in the 10 days prior to their scheduled Bop Stars Holiday Club, should also not attend. Upon arrival staff and children will have a temperature check before entering their bubble.
Hand Washing
Frequent hand washing and sanitising will be required by staff and students upon entry, between disciplines, before and after breaks, toilet visits and upon exit. Hand sanitisers will be available in each classroom and at the main entrance.
Enhanced Hygiene
Each day all staff members will ensure that surfaces and touch points are regularly disinfected. Bop Stars will ensure additional enhanced daily cleaning of facilities including classrooms, toilets and washrooms is in place. At the end of each day Bop Stars will use ABC microbuster sanitising solution (child safe) and fogger to disinfect all rooms.
Bubbles
Children will be put in bubbles in accordance with government guidelines. Please make us aware of any students, (such as siblings or friends), who would like to be in the same bubble and we will do our best to accommodate this. The outdoor areas will be utilised as much as possible and when activities are inside ventilation will be used.
Due to government guidelines we are currently operating with fixed group capacities. To avoid disappointment we advise booking in advanced.
Social Distancing
Bop Stars will have social distancing signs and floor markings throughout the venue. Each bubble will have their own lunch area, toilet facilities and outdoor space to help minimise cross over of students. Staff will encourage and remind students of rules throughout the day.
